President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace Participates in Kuwait’s Social Dialogue Forum, Affirms: “Peace Begins with Dialogue, and Unity Is Built on Trust”
Kuwait – 24 November 2025
Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, took part in the Kuwait Forum for Social Dialogue and National Cohesion, held under the theme “Peace Is the Security of Nations.” The event brought together senior officials, thinkers, and community leaders from across the country.
In his address, Al Jarwan emphasized that the forum comes at a pivotal moment, as the world faces rapid and complex transformations that demand stronger national unity and deeper social awareness. He stressed that genuine social dialogue is a cornerstone of development and national cohesion, noting that strong societies are those that ground their progress in understanding, mutual respect, and the prioritization of the national interest. He added that “tolerance is the soft power that protects the social fabric and shields young people from extremism and negative influences.”
Al Jarwan highlighted the key issues discussed during the forum, from strengthening social security and countering extremism to empowering youth, improving education systems, and developing economic awareness. He underscored that “investing in people is the first pillar of any civilizational project capable of enduring.”
He also reviewed the international work of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, explaining that through its International Parliament and partnerships in more than one hundred countries, the Council has successfully transformed dialogue into practical frameworks for building trust, fostering understanding, and promoting social peace.
Al Jarwan concluded by affirming the Council’s commitment to expanding its partnerships across the Gulf and the Arab world, and to launching joint programs with Kuwaiti institutions aimed at promoting tolerance and strengthening national unity. He closed his remarks with a message of purpose:
“Peace begins with dialogue, unity is built on trust, and sustainable development starts with the human being.”
