Within the activities of COP 28, Al Jarwan signs two cooperation and joint work agreements with the parliaments of Djibouti and Zambia
Amidst the proceedings of the seventh day of the Conference of the Parties (COP28), hosted by the United Arab Emirates, H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, signed a memorandum of understanding and joint work with Mr. Dilita Mohammed Dilita, Speaker of the Parliament of Djibouti. This signing took place on the sidelines of the parliamentary meeting organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), in partnership with the Federal National Council.
Simultaneously, Al Jarwan, joined by Her Excellency Mrs. Nelly Potet Muti, Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia, forged another significant agreement, a memorandum of understanding and joint action between the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and the Parliament of the Republic of Zambia.
The cooperative frameworks mirror the commitment to advancing cooperation in the realms of Tolerance and Peace at the parliamentary level.
In a related context, Al Jarwan welcomed His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Tahir Zakirzadeh, Speaker of the Tajik Parliament, and his accompanying delegation participating in the parliamentary session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) during the activities of COP28.
