Uruguay’s Foreign Minister receives Al-Jarwan and the delegation of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uruguay, His Excellency Mr. Francisco Bustillo, had received Al-Jarwan and his accompanying delegation at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the capital, Montevideo, affirming his country’s foreign support for the efforts to promote and spread the values of tolerance and peace adopted by the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace.

The Council’s gave a presentation to promote tolerance and peace around the world through the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, which now includes nearly 90 countries around the world, and the General Assembly for Tolerance and Peace, which mobilizes the efforts of relevant organizations, educational institutions and individuals in order to cultivate a culture of tolerance in various fields, and has cooperated with more than Fifty organizations, universities and institutions concerned around the world. For his part, His Excellency the Uruguayan Minister welcomed the opening of a regional office for the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace in Montevideo, through which work is carried out to achieve the goals of the Council in South America.
