To commemorate the International Day of Human Fraternity, the President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace attends the Festival of Human Fraternity at Expo 2020

H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al-Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, participated in the events of the Human fraternity festival organized d by the Ministry of Tolerance in collaboration with the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity to celebrate the International Day of Human Fraternity.

His Excellency emphasized that the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace is keen to commemorate the International Day of Human Fraternity on February 4th each year, as we remember , Under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Eminence the Grand Imam Ahmed Al-Tayeb and His Holiness Pope Francis, Pope of the Catholic Church, who signed the Declaration on Human Fraternity in Abu Dhabi, marking a pioneering historical moment. The first Declaration of its sort in our contemporary world, which unites humanity, places them in true solidarity, lifts them out of injustice, contributes to their prosperity, and inspires them to work diligently and continuously for the future and present benefit of humanity. We further reaffirm the Council’s commitment to advancing this historic declaration’s fundamental principles and values.”
