The speaker of the Serbian National Assembly (Parliament), H.E. Mr. Ivica Dacic received the President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed AlJarwan, at the Serbian Parliament headquarters in the capital Belgrade.
The two parties discussed strengthening the relationship and the partnership between the Serbian Parliament, the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and its International Parliament, with the aim of supporting and unifying all efforts, especially the parliamentary ones, in order to spread the values of tolerance and peace.
The speaker of the Serbian Parliament praised the role of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and its various organs, the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, and the General Assembly, for the great role the Council is playing in spreading tolerance and peace around the world, stressing his personal support and his country’s support for the Council and its lofty goals, as well as affirming his country’s wish to host a session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and peace at the Serbian Parliament, which is scheduled to take place soon.
AlJarwan thanked the Speaker of the Serbian Parliament, stressing the need to unite international efforts to promote tolerance and peace all over the world.
