The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace Commends Spain, Ireland, and Norway for Officially Recognizing the State of Palestine

His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, praised the historic decision made by Spain, Ireland, and Norway to officially recognize the State of Palestine. He emphasized that this decision is a significant step towards enhancing peace.

The President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace stated that the council, along with all its members and partners, views these decisions as a historic and positive move toward achieving global security, stability, and peace. He affirmed that such a decision contributes to promoting international peace by addressing a crisis that has negatively impacted the world for over 75 years.

In a statement on this matter, the council called on all countries to officially recognize the State of Palestine to enhance international stability and peace. It also emphasized the importance of implementing international legitimacy resolutions that advocate for a two-state solution to achieve comprehensive and just peace in the region.

In the same context, the council stressed the need to bolster international efforts aimed at containing the escalating crisis in the Gaza Strip. It called for the protection of innocent civilians, especially children and women, and urged for a ceasefire and an end to the war.
