AlJarwan concludes his official visit to Spain by signing a memorandum of understanding with the Spanish Federation of UNESCO Centers (FECU-UNESCO)

At the conclusion of his official visit to the Kingdom of Spain, the President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohamed AlJarwan, signed a memorandum of understanding between the Council and the Spanish Federation of UNESCO Centers (FECU-UNESCO), which includes defining aspects of future cooperation between the two institutions in a number of projects, initiatives and events aimed at To support the values of peace, tolerance and peaceful coexistence through educational and social institutions, artistic and literary competitions and those related to cultural diplomacy, and to promote a culture of dialogue and fraternity among the various peoples of the world.
The said memorandum of understanding was signed on the Spanish side by the President of the Federation of UNESCO Centers in the Kingdom of Spain (FECU-UNESCO), His Excellency Alberto Guerrero Fernandez, who stressed during the signing ceremony the Spanish Federation’s keenness to build strong cooperative relations with the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, which contribute to strengthening the work Between the two institutions to achieve the objectives of the Council and UNESCO alike through the activation of initiatives and the establishment of a joint event organized by the two sides aimed at supporting a culture of peace, love and tolerance.
The President of the Spanish Federation of UNESCO Centers praised the prominent role of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and its various bodies – the General Assembly and the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) – in leading efforts aimed at supporting and promoting the values and culture of tolerance, peaceful coexistence and love among the various peoples of the world, through international initiatives whose personalities contribute to their success. And prominent institutions in various countries of the world, and in various fields, the most important of which are parliamentary work, international cooperation, cultural bodies, and educational and university centers in a number of countries around the world.
