The General Assembly of the Paris Forum for Peace and Development in the French capital, Paris, elected Ahmed bin Mohamed AlJarwan as president of the forum, in the presence of board members and the participation of a number of media, academic and political elites and leaders of civil society in France.
AlJarwan was declared president of the Paris Forum unanimously on Thursday, November 25, 2021 AD.
The participating members pointed out that the election of AlJarwan represents a qualitative addition to the leadership of the forum, with its accumulated experiences and continuous efforts in promoting the dissemination of the values of peace, tolerance and coexistence in the world, stressing the need for the international community for a new vision towards facing challenges that impede international peace and security and opening broader horizons towards further communication. Containing international crises and actively participating in building a secure global community in which security and stability prevail, in addition to active participation in the comprehensive development process.
The Paris Forum for Peace and Development is one of the most important global platforms that, since its establishment in the French capital, Paris in October 2017, have worked to spread the values of peace, tolerance and confront extremism through the organization of many international conferences and seminars with opinion makers and effective economic, legal, political and societal elites inside and outside Europe.
