The President of the Uruguayan Parliament receives Al-Jarwan and the delegation of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace

His Excellency the Speaker of the Uruguayan House of Representatives, Mr. Ope Pasquet, received President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, His Excellency Ahmed bin Muhammad Al Jarwan, and his accompanying delegation. The two sides discussed ways to strengthen relations and work to activate the memorandum of understanding signed between the two parties by working to discuss issues of common interest in the areas of tolerance and peace, and adopting measures to develop parliamentary cooperation in various fields representing interests to achieve the goals of tolerance and peace in South America and the world.
