The President of the Republic of Mozambique receives Al Jarwan and affirms his support to the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace

The President of the Republic of Mozambique, His Excellency Felipe Nyusi received the President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, and his accompanying delegation, at the presidential palace in the Mozambican capital, Maputo.

His Excellency President Nyusi welcomed Al Jarwan and his accompanying delegation, affirming his country’s support to the directions of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and its lofty goals in fighting extremism and terrorism and calling for peace, development and stability, and also affirmed his country’s readiness to cooperate with the Council in all fields in order to promote a culture of tolerance and peace in Africa and the whole world.

From his side, Al Jarwan thanked the Mozambican President for his generous hospitality and good reception, praising the efforts of Mozambique and its great support to the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace. Al Jarwan also praised the Mozambique’s support to the efforts made in fighting extremism and terrorism and in spreading the culture of tolerance, dialogue, sustainable development and peace. At the end, Al Jarwan offered the trophy of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace to His Excellency President Felipe Nyusi.
