The President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace participates in the Policy Lab organized by the Academy of Democratic Development (ADD ) in Montenegro
The Academy for Democratic Development (ADD) of Montenegro organized a Policy Lab from 21 to 23 May 2021 in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, which was attended by the President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, H.E Ahmed Bin Mohamed AlJarwan.
The lab consists of group discussions between exceptional representatives of different institutions and organizations, including Ministries for European Affairs, Parliamentary Assemblies, Embassies, development agencies, regional CSOs and international networks, such as the Politikon Network, the EPIC Institute, the Center for Democratic Transition, the Association for Affirmation of Culture, and the Network of Progressive Initiatives. Furthermore, this lab was attended by representatives from global organizations such as the Council for Inclusive Governance from the United States of America and the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace. The tackled topics in the policy lab has focused on the dynamics of the relations between the countries of the Western Balkan region and future policy development in a way that serves the benefits of the peoples of the region and achieves progress and prosperity.
The President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, H.E. Ahmed Bin Mohamed AlJarwan addressed the audience, by welcoming the work of the AAD in Montenegro and expressed his sincere gratitude for the kind invitation to participate in this very important event and with a distinguished group of participants who prioritize development and cooperation at the region and the European levels. AlJarwan has emphasized the necessity to unify the efforts in order to achieve development for the peoples of the region, focusing on the importance of cultivating the principles of tolerance, love and peace in the region, given their importance in establishing a more secure and peaceful future in the Balkan region and the world.
