The President of the Afro-Asian Peoples’ Solidarity Organization in Cairo, receives the President of the Global Council for tolerance and Peace
The former Minister of Health, President of the Afro-Asian Peoples’ Solidarity Organization, Prof. Dr. Helmy Al-Hadidi, receives the President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, H.E. Ahmed Bin Mohamed AlJarwan, and the council’s delegation to discuss venues of collaboration by joining efforts to advance the issues of tolerance and peace in Africa and Asia.
During the visit, H.E. Al-Jarwan presented the Council’s activities promoting the values of tolerance and peace in the world, covering the establishment of the council, its composition, the tools it possesses and its permanent and regional headquarters around the world. H.E. AlJarwan expresses his pleasure to visit the Afro-Asian Peoples’ Solidarity Organization, which was established in 1958 by the late Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser.
Al-Jarwan thanked Prof. Dr. Helmy Al-Hadidi for the warm reception, appreciating the effort he exerts in supporting the strengthening of the organization’s tools towards restoring its pioneering role regionally and internationally.
On the other hand, Prof. Al-Hadidi, welcomed the delegation, and expressed his appreciation to the role that the Council has played since its establishment in supporting the consolidation of the values of tolerance and peace around the world.
At the end of the meeting, H.E. Aljarwan awarded the Medal of the International Council for Tolerance and Peace to Prof. Al-Hadidi, in appreciation to his efforts and rich history in volunteer work at the regional and the international levels.
