The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Catholic Film Center

The President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan and the President of the Catholic Center for Cinema, Father Boutros Daniel, signed a memorandum of understanding and joint cooperation to promoting the values of tolerance and peace at the center’s headquarter in Cairo, Egypt.

The Signature ceremony was attended by The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Arab Republic of Egypt, H.E. Dr. Hamad Saeed Al Shamsi, and a group of ambassadors, politicians and artists. Dr. Al Shamsi confirmed in his speech that stressed that the council’s project is an important international initiative, and that its work in the Republic of Egypt will be considered as a strong motivation to achieve the objectives of promoting the values of tolerance and peace; due to the fact that  Egypt enjoys the distinction and diversity of educational, diplomatic and social cadres.

The President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, praised the efforts of the Catholic Center for Cinema, as it constitutes the most important and oldest body of the Franciscan Order in Egypt concerned with the promotion of the moral and human culture of cinematic art, hoping that this memorandum of understanding will be a prelude to more cooperation and fruitful work in support of tolerance and peace around the world.

The Ambassador Dr. Hamad Saeed Al Shamsi praised the effort made by The President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan,  to advance the Council and raise its echoes around the world over the past five years, whether through relationships, friendships and agreements.
