The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace offers condolences to the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria

Today, corresponding to Monday, His Excellency Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace offered his sincere condolences and sympathy on behalf of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and all its members and partners to His Excellency President Bashar Al-Assad, President of Syrian Arab Republic, and His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Republic of Turkey. The Syrian and Turkish peoples in the aftermath of the earthquake It hit the two countries today, and resulted in hundreds of deaths and injuries.

Al-Jarwan emphasized the solidarity of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and all its partners and members with the families of the victims, praying to Allah Almighty to be forgiving and pure-hearted, and to grant the injured a speedy recovery.

He also called for assistance from relevant countries and institutions, with the aim of strengthening the ongoing rescue efforts in the two countries.
