The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP) strongly condemns Hanau terrorist attack
The Golobal Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP) has condemned in strongest terms the two terrorist shooting incidents which took place in Hanau City, west of Germany and claimed the lives of nine persons and injured others.
President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP) H.E. Ahmad bin Mohammad Al Jarwan condemned in the strongest terms the two terrorist shooting incidents which took place in Hanau City, west of Germany and claimed the lives of nine persons and injured others.
President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP) said in a statement on the incident: “The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace was founded for standing in the face of such incidents and what stand behind them of terrorist, extremist and racial thoughts, and it exerts relentless efforts to spread and uplift the values of tolerance around the world and to stand in the face of extremism and terrorism”, condemning in strongest terms this coward terrorist incident which was carried out by Tobias Rathjen, backed by those who promote racism, extremism and violence.
Al Jarwan called for unifying efforts of the international community in different domains to renounce racism, extremism and violence and eliminate terrorism which threatens the international peace and security and to support the values of tolerance, equality and human fraternity.
Al Jarwan expressed heartfelt condolences for the relatives of the victims, wishing speedy recovery for the injured.
