The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, led by H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, along with its members and partners, strongly condemns the horrific crime committed by Israeli occupation forces in setting fire to Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza. This brutal act, a grave violation of the most basic principles of international humanitarian law, constitutes an unwarranted assault on human rights and an unjustifiable attack on medical institutions providing essential humanitarian services to civilians.

The Council’s statement further underscored the urgent need for the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities to halt these recurring violations, which jeopardize innocent lives and devastate vital infrastructure in Palestinian territories. Al Jarwan further noted that 90% of schools and educational institutions in Gaza are now out of service, signaling an impending humanitarian disaster. In this context, the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace urgently calls on all active international stakeholders, as well as human rights and humanitarian organizations, to take immediate action to condemn this criminal act and hold the perpetrators accountable. It also urged the provision of necessary protection for the Palestinian people and their civil institutions, including hospitals and medical centers.
The Council reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to supporting efforts for peace, tolerance, and justice, stressing the importance of strengthening international solidarity to achieve peace and end the occupation, which remains the root cause of the persistent suffering of the Palestinian people.
