The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace affirms that caring for women is the basis for achieving peace and tolerance on International Women’s Day
The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace announced on International Women’s Day that it places primary importance to women as half of society. The Council also affirms its belief that achievement peace and societal tolerance cannot be achieved without caring for women and solving the problems they face in terms of marginalization, harassment, violence and inequality.
President of the General Assembly for Tolerance and Peace, Her Excellency Dr. Hagger Ismail, one of the main organs of the Council, said that the General Assembly of the Council is working on these problems through its members from different countries from civil society, universities and individuals interested in the values of tolerance and peace, and for this multiplicity and diversity of different countries and cultures It is of paramount importance to deal with and how to deal with women’s problems at the global level. In order to solve the problems facing women, the General Assembly aims to raise awareness through sensitive education, purposeful media, and increase the financial level of women through sustainable development, as well as raising awareness of women’s health.
Abougbal said on the occasion of International Women’s Day, March 8, that the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, with all its members and partners, congratulates every woman in all parts of the world and wishes her happiness, blissful and security. Her Excellency also renewed the Council’s call for women to participate in the Council’s efforts to promote the values of tolerance and peace all over the world.
