Prime Minister of Ivory Coast receives Al Jarwan and the Speaker of the Ivorian Parliament signed a memorandum of understanding with the GCTP.
His Excellency Mr. Patrick Achi, the Ivorian Prime Minister, received the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP) delegation headed by H.E. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, the president of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace. The delegation included H.E Mr. Baba Sana Mbaye, the Senegalese Parliament Member and the Chairman of the International Relations Committee of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) and H.E. Mr. Khaled Al Mahmoud, the advisor to the President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP).
Al Jarwan reviewed, with the Ivorian Prime Minister, the latest developments and projects conducted by the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and its multiple efforts at the parliamentary, cultural, educational and pedagogical levels in enhancing and promoting the values of tolerance and peace around the world.
For his part, H.E. Mr. Patrick Achi praised the role of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, as he stressed his country’s support for the council’s orientations in promoting human values and creating a culture of tolerance and peace.
H.E. Mr. Amadou Soumahoro, the Speaker of the Ivorian National Assembly (Parliament), received the GCTP delegation headed by Al Jarwan at the headquarter of the Ivorian National Assembly in Abidjan, the capital of the Republic of Ivory Coast. H.E. Al Jarwan, GCTP president signed a memorandum of understanding and joint work with H.E. Mr. Amadou Soumahoro, the Speaker of the Ivorian National Assembly, for enhancing the parliamentary cooperation in the fields of tolerance and peace in the African continent and the world, as the Ivorian National Assembly will assign, under this memorandum, its representative member in the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP).
Mr. Amadou Soumahoro stressed his country’s support for the orientations of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace for the promotion of tolerance and the values of love, charity, peace and coexistence, stating his aspirations for more cooperation and joint work with the GCTP and its IPTP.
For his part, Al Jarwan thanked the Mr. Soumahoro for the good reception, hospitality and generosity, stating that signing such memorandum will enhance and develop the cooperation mechanisms and joint work between the council, its IPTP and the National Assembly of Ivory Coast for the good of tolerance, peace and security around the world.
Ms. Kandia Camara, the Ivorian Minister of Foreign Affairs, also received the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP) delegation headed by H.E. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, praising the role of the council in promoting and unifying all efforts to support peace and tolerance initiatives and attempts around the world. Her Excellency confirmed her country’s support for the council’s efforts in such field. For his part, Al Jarwan praised the support of the leadership and the government in Ivory Coast towards the orientations of tolerance and peace, stressing his aspiration for more cooperation and joint work with the Republic of Ivory Coast.
