President Statement of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace in occasion of the New Year 2025

His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, expressed in a statement on the occasion of the New Year that we, at the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, hope that 2025 will be a year filled with goodness, tolerance, and peace. As we bid farewell to 2024, with all its pains, wounds, and crises, we find ourselves before a precious opportunity to reflect and learn from the lessons of the past. The year has been full of insights, calling us to self-review and to strengthen the values of tolerance, dialogue, and peace—values that our world needs today more than ever.

The past year witnessed great challenges, highlighting the urgent need for unity and collective action for a better future. Today, as we stand on the threshold of a new year, we reaffirm that true success begins with our belief in the power of tolerance and peace as fundamental pillars for achieving security, stability, and sustainable development. We must come together, placing humanity and its service at the forefront of our priorities, drawing inspiration from the lessons of the past to build a brighter and better tomorrow.
