President of the General Union of Arab Experts Participates in “The Arab Sustainable Development Week”

The president of the General Union of Arab Expert and the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, has participated yesterday in “The Arab Sustainable Development Week” conference, in Cairo, which was held under the slogan “Together for a Sustainable Recovery” and sponsorship of the Egyptian president, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and organization of the Arab League and the Egyptian Ministry of Planning and Economic Development.
During Al Jarwan’s statement in the events of the second day of the conference about “The role of digital transformation and artificial intelligence in achieving the goals of sustainable development”, he thanked the Egyptian president Abdel Fattah el-Sisi for sponsoring the events of “The Arab Sustainable Development Week”, reflecting his interest in the sustainable development in Egypt and the Arab region in general.
He has provided a recommendation to organize a meeting that includes the representatives of the Arab countries to unify their efforts and provide a comprehensive Arab vision based on exchanging experience in the field of digital transformation, and to establish mechanisms to overcome legislative and technical obstacles guided by the experience of developed countries, thus achieving the interest of the people from all Arab countries and their right to have a sustainable comprehensive development, which became the most important human right.
He thanked the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Dr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and the members of the General Secretariat for their constant dedication and relentless pursuit to develop the current Arab world. He expressed his gratitude to the Administration of Arab Organizations and Federations in the League of Arab States under the presidency of the elected minister, Mohamed Khair Abdel Qader.
He also stressed that digital transformation and sustainable development are the means of the present and the future goal, valuing the actions of the world leaders towards achieving it, which was added upon by the United Nations General Assembly by establishing a lofty vision to achieve sustainable development by the year 2030, clarifying that these visions and ambitions are surrounded by many obstacles and difficulties hindering its achievement; overcoming these obstacles requires global solidarity and continuous cooperation.
Ahmed Al Jarwan, the Executive Office Chief to the specialized qualitative Arab Federations forum, has recommended all the countries to benefit as quickly as possible from this technology and to correct its disadvantages as much as possible.
