H.E Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, participated in the conference “The Role of Tolerance and Coexistence in Sustaining Economic Growth” during the opening of the “Governments of the World are Incubators of Tolerance” conference, which was opened by H.E Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance on the sidelines of the “Summit” activities. In the presence of H.E Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, H.E Afra Al-Sabri, Director-General of the Ministry of Tolerance, H.E Miguel Meade, Minister of Investment of the Republic of Honduras, H.E Maria Sonsoles Garcia León, Minister of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fishing of the Republic of Ecuador, and H.E Harris Whitbeck, Minister of Tourism. In the Republic of Guatemala, H.E Alamuddin Konaković, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Al Jarwan said that the UAE has a rich legacy in the humanitarian field, which was established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, and continued by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, by promoting a culture of tolerance and coexistence so that it becomes a culture Sustainable in the UAE, embraced by its community members, both citizens and residents.

In a speech by H.E Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, he stressed the importance of the “AIM Investment Summit” in focusing on presenting new ideas and exchanging knowledge and experiences facing the region and the world. His Excellency pointed out that these are unprecedented challenges that require everyone’s cooperation, especially from Before thinkers and doers.

On the sidelines of the conference, memorandums of understanding were concluded between the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, the Ministry of Investment of the Republic of Honduras, and the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fishing of the Republic of Ecuador, signed by H.E Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan on behalf of the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, H.E Miguel Meade, Minister of Investment of the Republic of Honduras, and H.E Maria Sonsoles Garcia León, Minister of Production, Foreign Trade and Investment in Ecuador, while H.E Afra Al Sabri, Director General of the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, signed a cooperation agreement between the UAE and Austria, which was signed on behalf of Austria by Dr. H.E Dr. Etienne Berchtold, Ambassador of Austria to the country. H.E Al Jarwan pointed out that the agreements signed today by the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence with the Ministry of Investment of the Republic of Honduras, the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fishing of the Republic of Ecuador, and the cooperation agreement between the UAE and Austria, confirm the UAE’s message calling for spreading the values of tolerance and peace and attracting partners around the world.
