His Excellency Aljarwan and Baron discussed the prospects for cooperation between the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and the Inter-Parliamentary Union

HE Ahmed bin Mohammed Aljarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, received the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Gabriela Barron, on the sidelines of the 16th meeting of the International Agency for Renewable Energy (IRENA) held in Abu Dhabi.

The discussion of HE Aljarwan and Barron dealt with the horizons and mechanisms of cooperation between the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and the Inter-Parliamentary Union in order to instill a culture of tolerance and raise the values ​​of dialogue, openness, acceptance and respect for peace at a universal level, to fight the escalating phenomena of violence, extremism, racism, hatred and terrorism.

HE Ahmed bin Mohamed Aljarwan and Barron discussed horizons and mechanisms of cooperation between the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and the Inter-Parliamentary Union, in order to instill a culture of tolerance and raise the values ​​of dialogue, openness, acceptance and respect for peace at a universal level, to fight the increasing of violence, extremism, racism, hatred and terrorism. Barron praised Aljarwan’s efforts and achievements in spreading a culture of tolerance on the international scene and expressed her happiness to cooperate with the Global Council and the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace in the promotion of all that would support the cause of peace, human rights, dialogue, women empowerment and youth awareness in the world.
