His Excellency Ahmad Bin Mohammad Al-Jarwan meets the President of the Argentinian Parliament

His Excellency Mr. Emilio Monzo, President of the Argentinian Parliament welcomed his Excellency Ahmad Bin Mohammad Al-Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace , and his delegation, at the House of Congress in the Argentinian capital Buenos Aires.
Mr Monzo warmly welcomed the delegation headed by his Excellency Ahmad Al-Jarwan, showing gratitude for having chosen the Argentinian Republic as the first destination of the delegation to the countries of Latin America, in view of discussing ways of cooperation to promote and spread the values and ethics of Tolerance and Peace on the global level.

His Excellency Mr. Monzo expressed his happiness in hosting the Committee’s delegation in Argentina, while appreciating the outstanding efforts of the Committee to propagate ethics of Tolerance and Peace in the different continents of the globe, and praising the role of Mr. Al-Jarwan as head of the Committee and his prominent achievements within a very short period of time. Mr. Monzo was particularly pleased to announce that the Argentinain Republic is honoured to lead the presidency of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (one of the Committee’s pillars) for a period of one year, starting next June 2019, while expressing how honoring and valuable this important designation is for his nation. As a representative of his own country, he also offered the possibility for the International Parliament of Tolerance and Peace in the form of an official and open invitation to hold one of its sessions in the Headquarters of the Argentinian Parliament.
In his turn, Mr. Ahmad Mohammad Al-Jarwan provided a broad explanation and updates on the new actions undertaken by the Global Committee in general and on the International Parliament of Tolerance and Peace specifically, focusing on the high significance of the nomination of Argentina at the Head of the International Parliament of Tolerance and Peace starting June 2019, given the regional and international status of Argentina and in recognition of this country as a major defender and promoter of tolerance and peace.

After both parties having exchanged the memorial shields, Mr. Monzo accompanied Mr. Al-Jarwan and his delegation for a visit to the Argentinian Congress Conference Room and to the other facilities of the Parliament building, bringing into attention their efforts to make available all possibilities and conditions of the Argentinian Congress to cooperate and work in close collaboration in order to reach the utmost core values of Tolerance and Peace.

His Excellency Mr. Monzo invited Mr. Ahmad Mohammad Al-Jarwan and his delegation to have lunch at the Residence of San Juan, which is a historical place extending back to 200 years. The delegation is also expected to visit the Governorate of San Juan as part of the pre-set agenda of the Delegation of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace visit to Argentina.
