Groups under the aegis of Youth Initiative for Diversity in Nigeria (YIDIN), a global ambassador of peace, has called on all citizens to promote peace and tolerance in Nigeria.
The national president of the groups, Ambassador, Sadiq Ibrahim Badamasi, who made the call to mark 2018 world international peace day, in Abuja.
He said, “World peace day is devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples.
“Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person, these elements build the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the country,” he said.
In his part, program officer, Apudi Institute for Peace Studies and Social Rehabilitation, Igwe Martin enjoins all Nigerians to embrace peace and tolerance, “let us accommodate one another and live in unity”.
