H.E. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, expressed on behalf of the Council and its members around the world deep appreciation for the Arab and international efforts that contributed to reaching this agreement. He emphasized that the ceasefire should be seen as a first step toward a comprehensive and just peace, guaranteeing the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people in accordance with international law, justice, and human dignity.

He affirmed that genuine peace can only be achieved through serious and inclusive dialogue, capable of ending the cycle of violence and building a future founded on tolerance, coexistence, and mutual respect among nations.

In this context, the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace called for launching an international initiative to protect Gaza and declare it a safe zone and land for peace, ensuring the protection of civilians, ending all forms of aggression, and facilitating humanitarian and relief efforts as a prelude to reconstruction and sustainable development.

The Council also recalled that the “N’Djamena Declaration”, adopted during the 13th Session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, held in the Chadian capital on October 6, 2025, had emphasized the urgent need to achieve a comprehensive and just peace in the Middle East, to end the war, and to revive the two-state solution in line with international legitimacy, ensuring stability and the rights of the Palestinian people.

H.E. Al Jarwan concluded by reaffirming the Council’s commitment to continue working with partners worldwide to promote dialogue, understanding, and cooperation in pursuit of a more peaceful and tolerant world.
