Global Council for Tolerance and Peace Signs Cooperation Agreement with Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in Baku
BAKU – H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, and Dr. Aктoty Raimkulová, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish cooperation and joint action between the two institutions. The signing took place in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, on the sidelines of the International Parliamentary Conference held to mark the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in promoting the values of tolerance and intercultural dialogue, preserving shared human heritage, and supporting cultural and educational initiatives that foster peace and mutual understanding among nations.
H.E. Al Jarwan highlighted the importance of this partnership with the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, describing it as a dynamic international platform that strengthens cultural and civilizational ties among the member states of the Organization of Turkic States. He praised the Foundation and its President, Dr. Aktoty Raimkulová, for their distinguished efforts in safeguarding heritage and promoting universal human values.
For her part, Dr. Aktoty Raimkulová expressed her deep appreciation for the cooperation with the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, emphasizing that this partnership will open new avenues for joint cultural and humanitarian initiatives, contributing to the shared mission of advancing tolerance, peace, and sustainable development.
The signing of this MoU reflects the Council’s ongoing efforts to expand its network of international partnerships and to develop collaborative projects with regional and global institutions dedicated to spreading a culture of tolerance and building sustainable peace around the world.
