During his meeting with the deputy of the House of Representatives of Spain: The Spanish Parliament affirms its support for the efforts and objectives of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace

Vice-President of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Spain and former Minister of Development in the Spanish government, H.E. Ana Pastor Julien, while receiving the President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed AlJarwan, affirmed the interest and keenness of the Spanish Parliament and state institutions in the Kingdom of Spain to enhance cooperation with the Council, in order to support The objectives of the latter – and its bodies represented in the General Assembly and the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) – are to consolidate the values of peaceful coexistence, tolerance, love and peace in various countries of the world, through unifying efforts and visions within local parliaments, civil society institutions and universities in many countries with the aim of Establish those noble values.
The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Spain, was attended by the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Spain, His Excellency Majid Hassan Al Suwaidi, and the two deputies of the Spanish People’s Party (PP), His Excellency Carolina Spain Reina, and His Excellency Carlos Rojas.
Ahmed AlJarwan thanked the Vice-President of the Spanish House of Representatives for the warm reception, and stressed that the Spanish Parliament and state institutions in Spain have a major role in supporting all international initiatives aimed at promoting a culture of tolerance, peaceful coexistence and peace, and that the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace is very proud of the support of the House of Representatives in the Kingdom of Spain for the purposes of the Council. And that the coming period will witness more cooperation between the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) and the Spanish Parliament.
AlJarwan reviewed in front of the Vice-President of the Spanish House of Representatives all the activities, initiatives and events carried out and participated in by the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace during the last period, and highlighted the contributions of the Spanish parliamentarians to the success of these initiatives. He invited the Vice-President of the House of Representatives of Spain to participate in the ninth session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, and the International Conference on Tolerance, which is expected to be held from February 26-28, 2022 in the United Arab Emirates.
At the end of the meeting, the Vice-President of the Spanish Chamber of Deputies presented the President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace a copy of the Spanish Constitution, The Spanish official emphasized that this constitution, with its articles, guaranteed the stability and prosperity of Spain during the past dozens of years, and guaranteed her country the protection of the basic rights of citizens, and served as a guarantee of peaceful coexistence and tolerance in Spain.
