Director of the Foundation for Pluralism and Coexistence FPC at the Ministry of the Presidency of the Spanish Government receives AlJarwan

The Director of the Foundation for Pluralism and Coexistence FPC of the Ministry of the Presidency of the Government of the Kingdom of Spain, H.E. Inés Mazarraza Astencolar, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, received His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohamed AlJarwan, at the headquarters of the Spanish Foundation in Madrid, in the presence of the Technical Adviser at the General Administration of Religious Freedoms at the Ministry of the Presidency of the Spanish Government, His Excellency Daniel Pelayo Olmedo. The Spanish official expressed her happiness at receiving AlJarwan, and praised his role within the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and its various organs in supporting and promoting the values and culture of peaceful coexistence, love, peace and tolerance in various countries of the world.
For his part, Ahmed AlJarwan thanked the Spanish officials for the warm reception at the headquarters of the Spanish Foundation, and stressed that the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace aims to build partnership and cooperative relations with various state institutions in the Kingdom of Spain, especially those concerned with supporting pluralism, peaceful coexistence and tolerance. AlJarwan stressed that the interest in building this partnership with Spanish institutions stems from the belief of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace in Spain’s leadership in supporting international cooperation and solidarity and the values of peace and tolerance in a large number of countries in the world. During the meeting, Ahmed AlJarwan reviewed the work and achievements of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and its various organs during the past years – the General Assembly and the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace IPTP – in supporting and promoting the values of peace and tolerance in a number of member states belonging to this international parliament.
For his part, the Technical Adviser at the General Administration for Religious Freedom, His Excellency Daniel Pelayo Olmedo, confirmed that this department of the Spanish Government is keen to follow up on the efforts and achievements of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, and is interested in looking into the possibility of building cooperative relations with the Council to participate in activating international initiatives aimed at supporting pluralism. To promote tolerance and respect for freedom of religious belief and to spread a culture of peace in various countries of the world.
Ahmed AlJarwan welcomed the building of cooperation relations between the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and the Ministry of the Presidency of the Spanish Government, whether through the General Administration for Religious Freedom or the Foundation for Pluralism and Coexistence FCP, and stressed that this cooperation will enrich the work between the two sides to achieve common goals represented in supporting and promoting the values of tolerance Peace and love in the world.
