Business World Magazine Honors H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, Describing Him as “One of the Most Prominent Global Peace Advocates of Our Time”
In a significant new international recognition, Business World, a leading U.S. magazine, has named H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, among the most influential figures in promoting peace and tolerance globally in 2025.
This accolade reaffirms Al Jarwan’s role as a key global influencer driving positive change, transforming the ideals of tolerance from theoretical concepts into tangible, globally impactful frameworks in legislation, education, and international policy. He is recognized as a diplomatic and humanitarian leader who has successfully established operational models of peaceful coexistence worldwide.
A Pioneer in Building Bridges Between Nations
Since founding the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace in 2017, Al Jarwan has exemplified “soft power” diplomacy. Drawing from his extensive experience in parliamentary and diplomatic service—as former President of the Arab Parliament and with a background in military and international diplomacy—he established a robust institutional platform aimed at building bridges between cultures and shielding societies from hate speech and extremism.
Today, he leads three major global institutions:
• The International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP): Engaging over 100 countries in legislative cooperation to uphold coexistence and human rights.
• The General Assembly for Tolerance and Peace (GATP): A global forum uniting universities, research centers, and organizations in shaping shared visions for peace.
• The Universal Peace Charter (UPC): A foundational document adopted by international institutions as a reference framework for dignity and mutual respect.
Education as a Catalyst for Sustainable Change
Among Al Jarwan’s most notable achievements is the development of the Master’s Program in Tolerance Studies and Global Peace, in collaboration with international universities. This pioneering program prepares future leaders in diplomacy, human rights, and community peacebuilding.
Supporting this initiative are key publications such as:
• “Paths to a Culture of Tolerance and Peace”, a reference series on political and academic dimensions of coexistence.
• “Fostering Refugee Resilience”, a study on integrating refugees into host communities through skills and economic contributions.
A Global Humanitarian Voice
Al Jarwan has maintained a consistent presence in global arenas—from the Arab Parliament to UN platforms, and from Europe to Latin America and Africa. With unwavering dedication, he has brought forward the message of justice, unity, and dialogue.
