The President of the General Union of Arab Experts and the President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, H.E Ahmed bin Mohamed AlJarwan, was elected as a Chairman of the Executive Office of the Specialized Arab Federations’ Forum of the Arab League.
This came in a meeting of the Executive Office of the Forum, which was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo, within the framework of implementing the decisions of the fourth session of the Specialized Arab Federations’ Forum, which was held under the chairmanship of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab State , H.E. Ahmed Abou Al Gheit, at the El Alamein branch of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Egypt.
The meeting of the Executive Office was attended by the Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs, chairmen and secretaries-general of 11 Specialized Arab Federations. During the meeting, the President of the General Union of Arab Experts and the President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed AlJarwan, was unanimously chosen as the Chairman of the Executive Office of the Forum, and the Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Banks, Mr. Wissam Fattouh, was chosen as Vice President of the Executive Office.
It should be noted that AlJarwan served as the first speaker of the Arab Parliament for two consecutive presidential terms from 2012-2016, during which he offered great support for joint Arab work and consolidated the Arab parliamentarians in a period that witnessed regional and international difficulties and crises.
