HE Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, visited Al-Azhar Observatory in Cairo, stressing the need to combat extremism and to foster international awareness relevant to combating extremism and terrorism.
Al-Jarwan’s visit to Al-Azhar International Center for Monitoring, Fatwa and Translation aimed to identify the activities of the Center and the work methodology in all its departments.
Al-Jarwan also visited Al-Fatwa Center for Technology, which works with the latest modern technological systems to communicate inside and outside Egypt.
It was agreed that a cooperation agreement would be established between the Council and the Observatory in the near future and that it would include ways of cooperation between the two entities to make the greatest possible profit in countering extremist ideology and spreading peace and tolerance.
