Al Jarwan proposes the establishment a new entity to follow up on Refugees’ affairs, to the members of the Executive Office of the Forum of the Specialized Arab Federations

The Executive Office of the Forum of Specialized Arab Federations, which is sponsored by the League of Arab States, has held its consultative meeting at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo, 14th of October 2021.
The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Executive office, president of the Arab Experts Union, H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, and attended by the Vice President of the Executive Office, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Banks, H.E. Wissam Fattouh, the Secretary General of the League of Arab States, H.E. Dr. Kamal Hassan Ali, and Minister Plenipotentiary Muhammad Khair Abdul Qadir, as well as a number of general secretaries and representatives of other members of the executive bureau.
During the meeting, the chairman of the Executive Office of the Forum, H.E. Ahmed Al Jarwan tackled crucial topics, outlined on the meeting agenda, including the different submitted proposals regarding the establishment of the Specialized Arab Union Fund, looking into the criteria and regulations of newly joining members, as well as the establishment of the essential committees that will manage the activities of the Executive Office and activate its work mechanisms.
On the other hand, H.E. Al Jarwan, proposed to establish an entity or body to follow up on refugees’ affairs in the region. This proposal was well received by the attendees , who agreed to prepare a draft that clarifies and conceptualizes the idea of this proposal to be discussed in the upcoming meetings of the Executive Office.
