The President of the Paris Forum for Peace and Development and the President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, congratulates the French President Emmanuel Macron on his victory for a second term in the presidential elections, where Macron became the fourth French president to be re-elected since the current constitution was adopted in 1959, and the first to be re-elected in 20 years.
Al Jarwan expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes for Macron’s success in carrying out his presidential duties to realize the aspirations of the French people in achieving further progress, development and prosperity.
Al Jarwan also praised Macron’s and France’s role in building peace in Europe and the world, especially what has been witnessed in his position towards Ukraine and Lebanon, and his great interest in humanitarian issues, defending democracy and fighting climate change.
Al Jarwan said: “At this time where humanitarian challenges and refugee crises have become more serious, we must work together as responsible partners for a safer, more peaceful and equitable world”, stressing the support of the Forum of Paris for Peace and Development and the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace for all efforts to spread tolerance and peace in the world.
