On behalf of all members of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and its partners around the world, H. E. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, the President of the GCTP, congratulates H. H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State, may Allah save him; H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may Allah save him; H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces; and their siblings, the Supreme Council Members, the Rulers of Emirates; in addition to United Arab Emirates’ people on the 50th anniversary of the Union Day of the United Arab Emirates.
In his statement, Al Jarwan stated that the Union March, founded by Sheikh Zayed and the Founding Rulers since fifty years, has formed a success story to which the whole world witnessed. He stressed that since then, the United Arab Emirates has raced against the clock in development, growth, welfare, and prosperity in all fields, under the guidance of its wise leadership and its great people’s will and determination, until it reached the top positions in various areas during a record time. This has impressed the near and far and made Emirates and Emirati citizens be an example of excellence and artistic achievement, which has been recently interpreted by UNESCO Declaration that the National Day of Emirates on 2nd of December is an International Day for future.
