A Memorandum of Understanding is signed between the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace and the Gabonese National Council
A Memorandum of Understanding and Joint Work between the Gabonese National Council and the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, one of the bodies of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, was signed by His Excellency Mr./ Faustin Bokobe, President of the Gabonese National Council, and His Excellency Mr./ Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council.
The Memorandum aimed towards strengthening and framing the relationship of cooperation and joint action, in the Gabonese capital, Libreville, in the presence of the delegation of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, and a number of diplomats and members of the Gabonese Parliament.
Al Jarwan said, “We are pleased to sign today a memorandum of understanding and joint action with the Gabonese National Council, which will enhance cooperation between the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace and the Gabonese National Council.” Both parties agreed to open a regional office of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace for Central African States in Gabon, with the aim of strengthening efforts in the field of supporting efforts to spread a culture of tolerance and peace in various fields.
Meanwhile, the President of the Gabonese National Assembly stressed the importance of the memorandum of understanding signed between both parties, and what impact it has on promoting work to spread a culture of tolerance and peace in Gabon, the African continent and the entire world.
