A Memorandum of Understanding between the Parliament of Uruguay and the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace
A Memorandum of Understanding between the Parliament of Uruguay and the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace was signed at the 10th Plenary Session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace in Rabat, Morocco.
The signing was attended by the President of the IPTP H.E. Margarita Restrepo, the President of the GCTP, H.E. Ahmed Bin Mohammed AlJarwan, the representative from the Parliament of Uruguay, Mr. Fernando Ripoll, and H.E. Sebastián Cal, Deputy and member of the IPTP.
H.E. Sebastian Cal was also elected as the Vice President of the Committee for the Prevention of Violent Extremism.
According to the memorandum, both Parliaments agreed to work together, to coordinate policies and actions in order to promote the values of tolerance and peace, and thus contribute to build a better world together.
