Global Council for Tolerance and Peace Signs Memorandum of Understanding with the Euro-Arab Organization for Cultural Exchange in Brussels to Promote Values of Tolerance and Peace

H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed Aljarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Euro-Arab Organization for Cultural Exchange during the 9th Brussels International Forum for a Culture of Peace, held in the Belgian capital on April 11, 2026.
The agreement was signed with Mr. Issam Al-Badri, President of the Euro-Arab Organization for Cultural Exchange, a Belgian organization established in 2017 that operates in the fields of cultural and media exchange and promotes rapprochement among peoples. The organization maintains distinguished relations with the European and Belgian Parliaments, in addition to its media and community initiatives that contribute to spreading a culture of dialogue and peace.
The MoU aims to promote the values of tolerance, peace, and intercultural dialogue, and to expand areas of joint cooperation between both parties in cultural, media, and humanitarian fields. This includes organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops, exchanging expertise and knowledge, and supporting educational and humanitarian initiatives and projects.
The cooperation also includes organizing joint events across Europe and the Arab world, producing shared media content, empowering youth in the fields of dialogue and peace, and collaborating with relevant international institutions to strengthen coexistence and enhance social stability.
Both parties emphasized that this MoU represents an important step toward building effective international partnerships that support efforts to promote a culture of tolerance and peace, and open broader horizons for joint action in service of humanity and closer ties between peoples and cultures.

On this occasion, Mr. Issam Al-Badri presented H.E. Aljarwan with the “Most Influential Personality in the Culture of Peace 2025” award, in recognition of his constructive and continuous humanitarian efforts in advancing peace, tolerance, and his direct positive impact on promoting a culture of peace worldwide
