President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace Offers Condolences on the Passing of Dr. Mufeed Shehab

His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Dr. Mufeed Shehab, distinguished professor of international law, former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and a founding member of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace. He affirmed that the late scholar was a prominent academic and legal figure whose intellectual contributions and public service left a lasting impact on Egypt and the wider Arab world.

The statement of condolence, issued by the Council, conveyed heartfelt sympathy and sincere condolences on behalf of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace to His Excellency Abdel Fattah El‑Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, to the bereaved family, and to the brotherly people of Egypt during this time of loss.
The statement further noted that Dr. Mufeed Shehab’s passing represents a significant loss to academic and legal communities, in recognition of his distinguished scholarly contributions and his important role in advancing higher education and scientific research, as well as his participation as a founding member of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, reflecting his commitment to the values of dialogue and international cooperation.

Aljarwan prayed that Almighty God grants the late Dr. Mufeed Shehab His mercy and eternal peace, and that his family, loved ones, and all who knew him are granted strength, patience, and comfort.
