The Global Excellence Assembly has assigned the president of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, as the first Arab Ambassador of Excellence.
Al Jarwan was awarded the title of Ambassador of Excellence, for being an inspiring and influential leader in his country and in the world, he works hand in hand with various partners around the world in innovative ways to support all that contributes to peacebuilding, tolerance advocating and the reinforcement of the principles of human fraternity.
Through the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, Al Jarwan is raising the value of tolerance, spreading the culture of peace, fighting discrimination, racism, religious, ethnic and sectarian extremism, and developing the norms of international law which strengthens the principles of tolerance to achieving peace.
