H. E. Dr. Pornpitch Wichichulchai, President of the Senate, received His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, at the Senate headquarters in the Thai capital, Bangkok, in the presence of His Excellency Obaid Saeed Al Dhaheri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Thailand.
The President of the Thai Senate welcomed Al-Jarwan and his accompanying delegation, praising the role of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace in supporting tolerance and peace around the world. For his part, Al-Jarwan gave Mr. Wichichulchai a brief explanation of the Council’s efforts and activities around the world in supporting tolerance and peace in various fields, especially in the parliamentary field through the membership of more than 100 parliaments of countries around the world and through the academic and educational field through cooperation with more than 50 educational institutions and universities with the aim of spreading the values of tolerance and peace.
