H.E Professor Dr. Imran Khan, President of the City University of Ajman, received a delegation from the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, headed by H.E Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, at the university’s headquarters in Ajman, in the presence of Professor Dr. Ahmed Foley, Dean of the College of Law at City University Ajman, and Professor Dr. Muhammad Amira. Vice President of City University of Ajman.
The two sides discussed strengthening the relationship and partnership between the City University of Ajman and the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, with the aim of supporting and unifying all efforts, especially the Academy, in order to spread the values of tolerance and peace.
Al-Jarwan gave a brief presentation about the Council and its various bodies, the General Assembly for Tolerance and Peace, and the efforts they provide to promote the culture of tolerance and peace around the world in the academic field, locally and internationally.
H.E Professor Dr. Imran Khan praised the role of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and its various bodies, the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, and the General Assembly, for the great role the Council provides in spreading tolerance and peace around the world, stressing his support for the Council and its lofty goals in the academic field.
Al Jarwan thanked His Excellency Professor Dr. Imran Khan for the good reception, stressing the need to unify efforts between them in order to spread the values and concepts of tolerance and peace through the academic field.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides exchanged souvenirs, stressing the importance of cooperation to enhance tolerance and peace
