The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace welcomes the Sudanese Peace Agreement in Juba
The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP) welcomes the agreement signed today in the city of Juba in Sudan between the Sudanese government and the armed groups with international, Arab support. This agreement is considered as a historic achievement between the two parties in order to preserve the unity and stability of Sudan. The Council commends this agreement that would terminate 17 years of fighting between the people of one country, which led to the deaths of thousands and the displacement of millions of civilians.
