The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace signs an agreement to open a representative office in Libya with the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation
The President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohamed Al-Jarwan, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Libya, His Excellency Mr. Abdul Hadi Al-Hawaij, have signed an agreement to open a representative office of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace in Libya.
This agreement comes within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and Libya, with the aim of spreading and upholding the values of tolerance and peace in Libya and the world, in different fields and by many means, especially through the parliamentary, educational and media systems.
Al-Hawaij affirmed Libya’s continuous support to the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and its high goals, praising the role of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace in joining all international efforts to support and spread the values of tolerance around the world, acknowledging the council’s initiative to work from Libya, which would enhance and support the Libyan peace process.
The Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation also praised the role of the United Arab Emirates in the fields of tolerance and peace, its continuous support to the Libyan people and the peace process in Libya, and its clear efforts to promote peace and tolerance around the world.
For his part, the President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace affirmed his gratitude to the leadership and government of Libya for their great support to the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, praising the Libyan government’s support for peace efforts.
The agreement aims to promote more cooperation and joint work between the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and the Libyan government with the aim of raising and spreading the values of tolerance and peace in Libya and the world, and the agreement allows the Council to open a representative office in Libya with diplomatic advantages, with the aim of promoting tolerance and peace in the region and the world, The Convention has been ratified by the Cabinet of Libya.
For his part, Al-Jarwan thanked the Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the hospitality and good reception, and presented a summary of the most important achievements of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace, and the General Assembly for Tolerance and Peace, the two main organs of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, in spreading tolerance at the parliamentary, educational and media levels.
