The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace signs a number of agreements to support tolerance in Portugal

Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Academy of Sciences in Lisbon to support and unify scientific efforts in the field of tolerance and peace in Portugal, Europe and the world at large.
Dr. Carlos Sliema, President of the Academy of Sciences of Lisbon, praised the efforts of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, stressing that the agreement will advance the work in the field of tolerance in Portugal and Europe.
Al Jarwan also signed a cooperation and cooperation agreement with the Gremio Cultural Club in Lisbon to uplift and promote the values of tolerance and peace in the cultural and educational field in Portugal and the world. The agreement also aims to exchange experiences in the areas of tolerance and peace.
The President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and his accompanying delegation met with Jose Veritas Faraz, Director of the Diplomatic Institute at the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to discuss further cooperation and the possibility of hosting the Secretarait General of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace in Lisbon.

This came during the participation of the president of GCTP, H.E. Ahmed Aljarwan and rest of the delegation in the symposium on tolerance and peace in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon, held by the UAE Embassy in Lisbon, during which a film about the exploit of Sheikh Zayed and his vision on tolerance and peace was presented. The seminar was attended by a number of heads of organizations and universities concerned with tolerance in Lisbon, former ministers and diplomats in the Portuguese capital.
Al-Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP), delivered a speech in which he recognized the efforts of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace in raising and spreading the values of tolerance around the world through its various organs.

In his speech, he called for unifying all international efforts to achieve peace and spread tolerance, stressing that the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace extends its hand to all parties around the world and those interested in peace in order to achieve this noble goal of achieving a safer, more tolerant and peaceful future for the generations of the world.
