Meeting of The Legal Affairs Committee of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace

“The Legal Affairs Committee of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace held an extended meeting on February 25 & 26, 2019, dedicated to discussing and writing the final project of the Parliament’s rules of procedure. 

The meeting was chaired by his Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ali Seif, Vice-President of the Commission, her Excellency Mrs Marie-Rose Nguine Eva and his Excellency Mr. Fadel Zendili, Members of the Committee. His Excellency the President of the Committee was not able to attend the meeting, the latter having coincided with another important convention related to the general elections in Nigeria (presidential and legislative).

This meeting has been held with a view of mobilising the various other Committees of the Parliament, and in preparation for the third session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace expected to be held during the month of May 2019 in Germany. 

The other Committees of the Parliament are equally projecting to meet prior to the session planned in May in order to prepare its recommendations and action plans with a view of presenting them to the Parliament’s General Assembly.”
