Meanwhile, the GATP serves as a platform for non-governmental organizations (NGOs), individuals, and academic institutions to advocate for tolerance and peace, focusing on key areas such as education, women and youth empowerment, and sustainable development.
2023 Milestones: A Year of Remarkable Progress
In 2023, the GCTP achieved several significant milestones:
• Graduation of Pioneering Scholars: The first cohort of master’s students in Tolerance Studies and Global Peace graduated from UCAM, Spain, highlighting the GCTP’s commitment to educating the next generation of peace leaders.
• Thought Leadership Publications: The GCTP published Paths to a Culture of Tolerance and Peace and announced the upcoming release of Fostering Refugee Resilience: Global Perspectives on Integration, Inclusion, and Prosperity. These publications focus on addressing the refugee crisis and other global challenges, underscoring the organization’s dedication to thought leadership in peacebuilding.
• Development of Practical Tools: The GCTP developed valuable resources, including a manual on ethics in artificial intelligence and the “Tolerance and Peace Toolkit.” These tools aim to promote peace through practical, real-world solutions, demonstrating the GCTP’s innovative approach to advancing tolerance and peace.
