Global Council for Tolerance and Peace expresses its concern over the development of clashes between Armenia and Azerbaijan
The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP) announced that it is following up with concern the military developments and the armed clashes between the Armenian and Azerbaijani forces regarding the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh region.
In his statement, the President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammad Aljarwan, called for an immediate ceasefire and negotiation by stopping all the clashes and starting to reduce the tension in order to end the conflict and to stop the bloodshed in the region and avoid the economic and developmental losses.
Aljarwan, on behalf of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and all of its bodies, members and partners, called on all the bodies concerned to find a peaceful solution to the conflict in the Caucasus that would ensure security, peace and stability for the peoples of the region, and avoid the scourge of war and destruction.
