Al-Jarwan discusses with the President of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan ways to enhance cooperation and interoperability in the areas of tolerance and peace
His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, met today in Dubai with His Excellency Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, as part of his current visit to the state.
During the meeting, Al-Jarwan discussed with the President of Tatarstan opportunities to enhance cooperation between the Council and its various bodies. The “International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace,” and the “General Assembly” with the Republic of Tatarstan, in the interest and support of efforts to promote the values of tolerance and peace around the world.
Al-Jarwan present a brief explanation of the most important activities of the Council’s bodies, reviewing the Council’s efforts to support the values and culture of tolerance and peace around the world, as well as the most important initiatives and projects in which the Council participates in various countries of the world with the aim of promoting peaceful coexistence and tolerance. Al-Jarwan expressing his appreciation for the importance of the role of Tatarstan and its various bodies in supporting security, stability, tolerance, and peace. The President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace also invited a member of the Tatarstan Parliament to join the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace.
For his part, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan praised the efforts of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace in promoting a culture of tolerance, peaceful coexistence and peace among the various peoples around the world, He expressed his thanks to Al-Jarwan for his interest in establishing partnership and establishing cooperative relations with various state bodies in Tatarstan, stressing his country’s support for the Council’s great international endeavors and efforts, and extended an invitation For Al-Jarwan and the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace to participate in the Islamic Forum in Tatarstan on the eighteenth of May 2023.
