Dr. Hersh Chadha, member of the Constituent Assembly of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, spoke to GCTPNEWS.ORG about the importance of the council and its message to spread a culture of tolerance and peace around the world.

“I think it is a very important institution because it is global in nature and it is dealing with two very important subjects in the world which are Peace and Tolerance. To achieve peace, we have to first attend tolerance. Once we attend tolerance then we automatically achieve peace.”

“There are issues going on around the world for many reasons, such as poverty, overpopulation and also the number of refugees. We have to understand that these social problems should be solved not increased. Any conflict in the world cannot be resolved by creating another conflict, its peace that resolves them. This is my message to the world through this very important organization, which is the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace.”

“This organization is global for a reason, and it is to help spread the message all over the world. Wherever you see the sky you’ll find us. We are represented in a lot of countries, we have very strong funding, and we are looking for more support in this field from all calibers of humanity. The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace believes that all human beings, men, women, youth, adults and elderly, should be taught that peace is the solution and not violence.”

“I know that everyone might be wondering why we are doing this now, after so many major wars, especially great wars like world war 1 and world war 2. Well, it is never too late for humanity to understand that we have one purpose in life, a purpose for our existence in this world and why God has given us this time on this beautiful planet called Earth. This purpose is to find our happiness and live together happily, and the only way to find it is through peace, which cannot be achieved by confiscating someone else’s peace, but by finding your own peace within yourself. You don’t have to go too far to look for peace, just take a look at your inside not your outside.”
